How the work gets done
Vanguard Cleaning Systems GTA West is an independently owned and operated Area Franchisor representing the Vanguard brand in the GTA West. We don't send out our own cleaning crews. We place commercial accounts with independent franchise owners — established cleaning businesses — and our regional office supports them and holds them to standard on compliance, documentation, customer communication, and quality.
Who we place each account with is one of the most important decisions we make. That's why we're selective about it.

Crews on payroll, not cash
Franchise owners pay their people correctly — on payroll, with source deductions remitted, WSIB coverage in place, and Ontario employment standards met. That's what makes the fair-pay model hold up in practice.
Experienced owners, trained crews
The franchise owner brings the experience and oversees the ongoing training of their crew — on technique, safety, and your facility's requirements.
Proven before larger accounts
New franchise owners prove themselves on smaller accounts first.

Our regional office coaches franchise owners on technique, documentation, compliance, and communication, so the standard holds from account to account.

Is your commercial cleaning business ready for more?
A Vanguard franchise gives an established cleaning company access to commercial accounts to grow its revenue. Because we're placing our accounts — and our reputation — with the businesses we bring on, we look for owners who already have the foundation in place:
- You're currently active in the day-to-day commercial janitorial market
- You employ a team of cleaning staff
- Your people are on payroll — source deductions remitted, WSIB coverage in place, Ontario employment standards met. Not cash.
- You have experience servicing larger commercial buildings on a recurring basis
- You oversee the training of your crew and hold them to a standard
- You've built a reputation for quality work and clear customer communication
- You can service the GTA West on an ongoing basis
What we don't offer
We don't run a start-up program to teach the basics of operating a cleaning business. This works best for owners who already have that foundation and are ready to take on more.
