A different model. A better result.
Most cleaning contractors send a crew and hope for the best. We built a system that makes consistent results predictable — not accidental.

Why Vanguard GTA West is different
We are not a cleaning company. We are a regional franchisor — which means the people cleaning your facility are experienced, independent business owners operating under our system, our standards, and our oversight. They have a stake in the outcome that an hourly employee never has.
The difference shows up in how long crews stay, how well they know your facility, and how rarely you have to think about your cleaning contractor at all. That is what we are building toward with every account we take on.
Franchise owners who've proven it
Vanguard looks for several attributes from franchise candidates before we develop them into a franchise owner. Every franchise owner we select already runs an established commercial cleaning business — real accounts, real crews, real technique. That's one requirement. The other is separate: do they take responsibility when something goes wrong, or explain why it wasn't their fault. The franchise owners we sign fix problems permanently, not temporarily, and adapt without being told — to a special event, a seasonal change, a new contact on your side, a new compliance requirement. They own the clean of your building, not just the schedule for it. New franchise owners prove both on smaller accounts first, growing into larger ones only as they show they can hold the standard.
Regional office support
Our franchise owners are not on their own. Even an established, experienced cleaning business usually finds our standard higher than what they were running before they joined — expected, since what customers ask for today isn't what they asked for ten years ago. Closing that gap is our job: face-to-face coaching on technique, documentation, compliance, and customer communication, for as long as it takes to get there. The same coaching applies to franchise owners who've been with us for years, as the standard keeps moving. It doesn't depend on one person having a good week — it depends on a system that keeps closing the gap, account by account.
Technology that makes it visible
We use technology to make the work verifiable — not just for us, for you. Electronic restroom cleaning logs, a client-facing portal, and crew communications tools give your team visibility into the service without having to chase anyone for it. It's the same regional support system, extended directly to your building.
The technology behind the standard
One platform, deployed however it's useful for your facility — a compliance log here, a crew communication point there, both, or just one. It's built to fit your building, not the other way around.
Electronic restroom cleaning logs
QR-code based, timestamped, and exportable as PDF or CSV. Ontario amended its Health and Safety Act on January 1, 2026 to require restroom cleaning logs. Our system was already in place. Your compliance team can access and download logs directly through your client portal — no request required.
Client portal
View your invoices and payment history exactly as we see them. Pay by credit card. Update your contacts. See who your service provider is and communicate with them directly. Download your cleaning logs. Everything in one place, accessible at any time.
Employee-to-crew communications
The same platform, placed where your employees are — a facility-specific QR code lets anyone report a concern directly to the crew leader, with a message and photos. Concerns get addressed at the source. Your facilities manager stops being the middleman for every cleaning question in the building.

We will walk you through the portal, the logs, and what a properly supported franchise owner looks like in practice. No sales pitch — a real conversation.
